»El Tenampa

Behind the humble store front of El Tenampa lies a hidden gem that would have been easy to miss were it not for the hoard of hungry diners that swarm this little eatery at meal times. Grocery and deli rolled into one, El Tenampa doles out delicious, simple and authentic Mexican fare including tacos, sopes and tortas. Stuffed with homemade salsas, guacamole, pickles and succulent meats, the tacos sold here are especially popular. Although the deli is far from fancy, the food is undeniably delicious, each bite packed with bold and subtle flavors alike. There are a few tables at the back, but they usually fill up quickly so be sure to arrive early if you want to dine in.
