The largest surviving fragment of wetland, the Trap Pond State Park spans 2109 acres (853 hectares) providing visitors with an excellent campground for camping and other outdoor activities. The campground features 140 sites with water and electricity hook-ups, 10 primitive walk-in tent sites, eight camping cabins and two yurts. In addition to picnic tables and fire-rings at each site, the area also allows you to explore a range of outdoor activities including boating, fishing and hiking. The campground is open from the beginning of March till the end of November. One of the best times to visit would be during Halloween weekend.
