The Omena Presbyterian Church or the Grove Hill New Mission Church is situated in Omena, Michigan. Built in 1858, the whitewashed structure has a turreted chimney. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1972.
Mancelona was founded in 1872 when a railroad station was built which culminated to the building of the town. A number of factories opened thus attracting migrant workers. This city is known for the annual buck hunting contest where deer are hunted in large numbers.
