Hinder is an alternative rock band from Oklahoma City that rose to become one of the country's leading alt rock acts following the release of its debut album Extreme Behavior in 2005. The LP, which earned platinum status many times over in the US, Canada and Australia, served to transform the backwater band into a commercial powerhouse that went on to release several subsequent singles that would be featured on US mainstream music charts on at least 10 occasions. Touring with the likes of alt rock megastars such as Nickelback and Rev Theory throughout the first decade of the 2000s, Hinder is showing no signs of slowing down, and if public exposure and commercial success can be seen as the measure of a band's worth, then this Oklahoma Music Hall of Fame inductee is truly worth its weight in gold.

Lewis Black is a stand-up comedian from Silver Spring, MD who, aside from his stand-up comedy shows, is perhaps best known for his irreverant commentary segment on The Daily Show with Jon Stewart entitled "Back in Black." Black's trademark, disgruntled-to-the-verge-of-insanity comic style made him one of Comedy Central's biggest talents since he premiered his own special on the network in 1998. Since then, Black has continued his thoroughly successful career with the network, as well as his career in stand-up, which produced a Grammy Award winning comedy album of his groundbreaking Carnegie Hall performance in 2007.
