Designed by architect Joe Lee, this championship caliber 27 hole golf course including three lakes, a putting green, driving range, and fully stocked pro shop. Three restaurants and five private banquet rooms are located in the onsite clubhouse.
The Aiken Tennis Club was incorporated in 1898 with the sponsorship of financier and head of the prominent Whitney family, William C. Whitney. It is located in Aiken, South Carolina. The club building was constructed around 1902. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places on November 27, 1984.
Built in 1912, this semiprivate, links style 18 hole, par 70 golf course is one of the oldest golf courses in the nation and has features including Bermuda grass and walking paths. A restaurant, fully stocked pro shop, practice putting and chipping greens, and a practice hitting area are also on site.
This hunt club provides exciting fox hunting and drag hunts for out-of-town guests in the scenic Hitchcock Woods. They also sponsor the annual Blessing of the Hounds and the April Horse Show.

Built in an old European architectural style, this equestrian center lies on 500 beautiful acres and has facilities include a covered riding arena, three outdoor arenas, two stabling facilities, and 12 miles of trails. Services available include horse boarding, training and grooming for your horse, and riding lessons for all ages, beginners to advanced. School riding programs and summer camps are also available.
An Ellis Maples design golf course, this semiprivate 18 hole, par 71 golf course is surrounded by towering pines and is the third oldest golf course in Aiken. This course hosts the U.S. Open Qualifiers and the U.S. Senior Amateurs.
Nestled on over 100 acres that includes towering trees, trails, two ponds, and large turnout fields, this equine farm is known for their beginner novice through preliminary cross country courses plus offers boarding, training, and jump design and building services. A full stadium course and dressage rings are also on site.
Located just off Banks Mill Road on a private farm situated on 50 acres. They offer privacy and no hassle to layups, pasture and stall boarders. Wooded paths to hack and enjoy surround the pond, Hunter-Jumper and Dressage Rings. Trainers/Lessons available for your discipline. Easy drive to downtown and all show facilities.
Hunter Run Farm is located on 54 acres. They are a lesson/ boarding facility and have a wonderful eight stall barn (a 20 stall barn is in the process of being built), lighted ring with jumps, grand prix field and trails. Cindy Purcell is a top hunter, jumper and equitation trainer. Lessons are offered for all ages, beginners to advanced.
Ranked by Golf Digest as one of the nation's premier public golf facilities, this 18 hole semiprivate golf course is considered the "poor man's" Augusta National and the course winds through 520 beautiful acres of winding streams and mature vegetation. Excellent practice facility and professional instructors are also on site.
