A musical take on a beloved American franchise, The Addams Family is a theatrical production that bring the ghoulish Addams family to the stage. Based on the original single-panel gag cartoon by Charles Addams and not the more recognizable TV series of the same name, the show begins when Wednesday Addams plans to bring her family and her new boyfriend's family together for one normal dinner. However, her hilariously macabre family, who can't seem to fit in, have a very different standard of normal.

Waters is the rock and roll project of Van Pierszalowski, a San Francisco-based artist who is known for his tenure with Port O'Brien and The Morning Benders. Capturing a louder and more aggressive sound than his former indie outfits, he recorded and released his debut album, Out In the Light, in 2011 and has since been spreading his music around the world with his live band.

The War on Drugs: The Album of the Year

Adam Granduciel was in a rut. It was mid-2013, and the mastermind behind Americana psych-rock outfit The War on Drugs had come to a standstill with the album hed been crafting for more than a year. He wasn’t want of ideas—he had plenty of those—but something had changed. He didn’t feel like himself. Coming off the breakthrough success of 2011’s Slave Ambient and extensive touring, he’d started asking questions: Was the band going anywhere? Were they connecting with anybody? Was this what he should be doing with his life? Was he contributing anything of note to the canon? Months earlier, on the morning of Feb. 17, Granduciel awoke “feeling like a totally different person.” He started experiencing heavy bouts of anxiety, suffering from debilitating panic attacks. He couldn’t focus, and he felt his world getting smaller. He worried about his age, about his impact. He worried about death, about the future. Everything was suddenly up in the air, on hold—including the then-unfinished Lost in the Dream LP, the band’s career-crowning third full-length and Paste’s number one album of 2014.

The Reverend Horton Heat is a Texas-based trio and the moniker of its front man and singer/songwriter Jim Heath. Formed in 1985, The Reverend Horton Heat offers an aggressive but endearing psychobilly sound that includes elements of country, punk and rockabilly. While the group has found a fair amount of success on the mainstream market, with songs in multiple commercials, television shows and video games, The Reverent Horton Heat gets most of its support from the close-knit cult following that has been around since the beginning, from the band's 1990 debut album Smoke 'em If You Got'em, to its most renowned effort, 2002's Lucky 7.
