Opened in 1969, the Coliseum is home to The Auburn University Tigers. Seating up to 10,500 visitors, it is a multi-purpose arena, seeing a mix of basketball and volleyball games and gymnastics. The ground, which was named after basketball coach, Joel H. Eaves and Jeff Beard (athletic director) is one of the three facilities of the Auburn University.
