Knecht's Mill Covered Bridge
Springfield, PA 18081
Knecht's Mill Covered Bridge is an architectural milestone in itself. A historic covered bridge, it is one of the few of its kind in Pennsylvania. Built in 1973 in town Truss style, it is 110 feet (33.5 meters) long and 15 feet (4.5 meters) wide. The beauty of the bridge trebles in winters, when it gets covered by snow, making it a unique picturesque sight. The bridge was added to National Register of Historic Places in 1980.
