Set in New York City in the 1940s, the Tony award-winning musical Guys and Dolls follows the criminal activities of a group of professional gamblers. Originally directed by George Kaufman, Guys and Dolls debuted in 1950 and won the Tony for best musical the following year. By 1955, the story had been adapted to the iconic film version, starring Vivian Blaine, who also performed in the original musical along with Marlon Brando, Jean Simmons and Frank Sinatra.

Tickets are not available on-line :: Reservations are Recommended.AmiciMusic presents "CZECH MATES" with violinist Mary Irwin, cellist Franklin Keel, and pianist Daniel Weiser.This program features two incredible piano trios by Czech composers.  First is the poignant and passionate Trio in G Minor by Bedrich Smetana, written shortly after the death of two of his young daughters.  This trio charts the process of Smetana's emotions, from grief-filled angst to tender nostalgic reminiscing, and finally to a cathartic and dramatic release in which he metaphorically lets them go so that he can continue to live and compose.   Also on the program is Antonin Dvorak's beloved "Dumky" Trio, filled with incredible folk tunes and exciting rhythms.
