Historic Roscoe Village, the pet project of Coshocton's own inventor and entrepreneur Edward Montgomery and his wife Frances, is a charmingly picturesque trip back to the Ohio of the 19th century. The restored village is home to numerous quaint shops, restaurants, and even a museum that houses items made by Ohio's natives, as well as those made by many other cultures. As you walk through the lovingly-maintained gardens here, be sure to check out the replica of an old-fashioned canal boat, and sign the kids up for one of the many craft activities.
