»National Museum of Cambridge Glass, The

This beautiful museum houses one of the most extensive collections of Cambridge Glass; the tools, molds and etching plates used to manufacture the glass; and exhibits on the history of glassmaking. New rotating exhibits from major private collections are featured each year. The gift shop offers genuine Cambridge Glass and limited-edition reproductions, as well as, books on glass collecting. The Edna McManus Shepard Education Center is now open with educational programs and information on reproductions and history on the glass-making process. It is open April through October.

»Andrew Kachilla Center for Arts

Located in downtown Cambridge, one block West of the Courthouse. Dedicated to the local folk artist Andy Kachilla, the non-profit Kachilla Center displays his work, and the works of several prominent local artists, hosts art exhibitions and competitions, and holds art classes for young people and adults. The Degenhart Paperweight & Glass Museum is "dedicated to the exhibition and history of glassware produced in Ohio, western Pennsylvania and northern West Virginia." Items on display include Midwestern pattern glass, 1800's glass, cruets, paperweights and pieces made from the moulds of Degenhart factories. An on-site gift shop features items from several different glass companies that produced novelty items, paperweights, marbles and Degenhart Crystal Art glass items.

»Putnam Underground Railroad Education Center

Prior to the Civil War, this house was in the middle of abolitionist activity as the New Englanders in Putnam organized the Muskingum County Abolitionist Society. Now this home is preserving important local and national history by housing a museum with artifacts from Africa and pre and post Civil War Zanesville, a library on the Underground Railroad, and a computer lab for learning and research activities.
