You may have seen him as a finalist on America's Got Talent, but did you know that William Close has invented over 10 instruments including the largest stringed instrument in the world? William Close is a trailblazing artist, musician, performer and educator who has combined sculpture and music to create a powerful sonic experience and an arresting visual image. He has invented over 100 instruments, including the largest stringed instrument in the world: The Earth Harp.  Inspired by the Frank Lloyd Wright quote, "Architecture is frozen music," Wiliam has strung the Earth Harp to hundreds of world-renowned buildings including the Space Needle in Seattle, the Coliseum in Rome, the Kennedy Center, and Lincoln Center. The America's Got Talent Finalist has also performed at Coachella and Burning Man - two of the world's premier music festivals.  William's latest touring troupe, The Earth Harp Collective, brings energetic musicians together; vocals, drums, strings, electronics, and others to "free the music" within Harrisburg's architectural landmark - The Forum, on March 15, 2015.  Proceeds benefit The Silver Academy Scholarship Fund. To see William in action, click here!    FAQs: Can I choose my seat(s) location?  Once you've settled on certain tickets ($35, $55, $75, or VIP $100), Eventbrite will choose the best possible seats in the house for you! The higher the price of the ticket, the better the seat location. Eventbrite does not allow ticket-buyers to choose specific seats in the auditorium.  This helps us avoid "holes" in seating.   Are there ID requirements or an age limit to enter the event? No.  This concert event is geard towards families.  All children 2 years and older will need their own seat.  Is my registration/ticket transferrable? The name on the ticket doesn't match the attendee. Is that okay? Yes and yes. Your ticket is not attached to a specific person.  What is the refund policy? There are no refunds for this event.  Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event? Printing and bringing your ticket to the concert will quicken your entrance to the venue.  What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? On Sundays, street parking in Harrisburg is free.  The best street parking is on Walnut Street and Commonwealth Ave.  There are also a number of nearby parking garages.   Where can I contact the organizer with any questions? Please direct questions to or call 717-461-2117.
