Cheap Trick Featuring Thomas Wynn & The Believers
    Hardware Bar - YorkOctober 11, 2014 6:00 PM
    12 West Market Street
    York, PA 17401
Anyone who decries the seminal power pop band Cheap Trick for being overtly keen to indulge itself with its infectious, hook friendly sound is onto something. The band's tunes are ridiculously catchy and immediately after hearing a few songs, they beg for repeated listens. The four piece got its start in 1974 and with a few decades under its belt spent in the studio and on tour, the band has honed its sonic approach and grown into one of the more powerful American bands in existence.

    Harrisburg, PA 17101
Brooklyn piano aficionado Marco Benevento has performed as himself and with many other projects, namely the Benevento/Russo Duo with drummer Joe Russo, the Benevento Trio, and Quartet. Marco's music is most closely related to experimental and avant-garde jazz styles, often exploring the possibilities of unusual rhythms and percussion with various guests and collaborators. Marco has also recorded a number of albums with tighter, focused song structures and melodies; songs that ultimately make the rotation in his live sets and are expanded on through improvisation. Marco's album Between the Needles and Nightfall was released in 2010.

    Jessica Hernandez & The Deltas
    Fed LiveOctober 17, 2014 8:00 PM
    234 North 2nd Street
    Harrisburg, PA 17101
After getting her start in music singing cover songs and a handful of self-written, half-serious tunes about failed sexual encounters, Detroit-based artist Jessica Hernandez decided to take a real shot at music and formed the Deltas in 2009. She assembled a band and released her first EP, Too Many Clothes, in 2010, under the name Jessica Hernandez and the Deltas. With a sound that goes from catchy, uptempo tunes to more ballad-oriented slow jams, Hernandez and her band continue to churn out a distinctive brand of dark pop and neo soul.

    Travis Tritt, Justin Lee
Since 1990, country singer Travis Tritt has been releasing records that seek to marry his love of r&b and gospel with that of the South's rich country and blues history. The bulk of Tritt's catalog is devoted to love ballads, most of which are lead by Tritt's own acoustic guitar melodies and sparse additional production. Like many country music stars Tritt has helped define, the music is almost always centers on love, loss and faith subjects that are most closely rooted in early r&b and gospel traditions.
