Garrett-Bullock House is located in Columbus, Georgia. The 1881-mansion was built in the Queen Anne style of architecture by Confederate Colonel Joseph S. Garrett. The house is rented out for use for wedding ceremonies and private parties. It got listed on the National Register of Historic Places on September 29, 1980.
A National Historic Landmark since 1975, this spectacular, red plush-and-gilt theater was built by Francis Joseph Springer, an immigrant from Alsace, and was opened in 1871. This opera house operates today as a working theater which presents year-round entertainment on two stages, as well as offers formal theater training and educational programming.

The symphony performs a full season of classical and contemporary music at the Bill Heard Theatre which seats 2,000 and provides a state-of-the-art visual and acoustical experience.
