Indiana's largest state park, the 15,776-acre Brown County State Park features campgrounds, two-bedroom family cabins, lodge and cabin guest rooms, a seasonal camp store, more than 18 miles of hiking trails, Ogle Lake, a nature center, mountain bike trails, tennis courts, picnic areas, a saddle barn, seasonal Olympic-size pool, playing field, playgrounds and more.

Located in Bean Blossom and home to the Bluegrass Festival, lies the Bill Monroe's Memorial Music & Campground. Named after the legendary Bill Monroe, the park is spacious and surrounded by lush greenery. Visitors can partake in a number of activities like jogging, fishing, hiking, camping and even hold picnics here. TC Steele (1847-1926) moved to Brown County in 1907. The Historic Site offers guided tours of historic buildings, hiking trails & nature preserve. Closed Monday & during winter.
