WWE: Live - Road To Wrestlemania
Big Sandy Superstore ArenaFebruary 08, 2015 7:00 PM
1 Civic Center Plaza
Huntington, WV 25701
During the early 20th century wresting was looked at as a serious sport with classical connections to Olympic competitions. This all changed, though, with the rise of World Wrestling Entertainment during the 80s. Rising to prominence under the guidance of CEO Vince McMahon, WWE presented wrestling as less of a sport and more of a staged entertainment event with colorful characters and elaborately planned title matches. Battles between WWE wrestlers are typically held in stadiums, packed with fervent fans, and are televised to audiences around the country. Theatrics and even pyrotechnics are employed to an ostentatious degree but all the lively visuals combine to make for some extremely engaging, exaggerated wrestling performances that fans continue to thrive on.

Barely making ends meet, they scrap together what little they have to survive as they face the trials of life and love. At the heart of the show is the love between Rodolfo and Mimi, but they soon face tragedy as they battle mental and physical illness. La Boheme has been named as the second most performed opera in the world, spawning several adaptations, including the modern smash-hit musical Rent.

Charleston, WV 25339
Patti Labelle is an American soul singer who has cultivated a classic catalog over her decades-long career. Getting her start as the lead vocalist of Patti Labelle and the Bluesbelles, she embarked on a solo career in 1977 and introduced herself to the world with her self-titled debut album. Capturing the full spectrum of her vocals, the record garnered critical laudation and catapulted Labelle onto the world stage. Releasing massive hits over the years, such as 1982's "If Only You Knew," and 1989's "If You Asked Me To," she finally earned her first of several Grammys in 1992 for her LP Burnin'. Leading with her powerhouse R&B vocals and virtually ignoring popular music trends, Labelle has managed to traverse the entertainment landscape as a musical icon for over half a century.
