Chestnut Street-Grand Trunk Railroad Bridge
The Chestnut Street-Grand Trunk Railroad Bridge is metal bridge built over an abandoned Grand Trunk railroad in suburban Detroit in Wayne County, Michigan. Built in 1929, it is one of the few remaining historic bridges of its kind and was thus entered in the National Register of Historic Places in 2000. The bridge is a testimonial to Detroit's industrial flourish in the early 1900s.
