Visitors to the park can coast along its 130 miles of winding scenic roads, set out on one of the numerous hiking trails throughout the park, or even sneak in a quick round of gold on the 9-hole golf course.

A section of the Catoctin Mountain ridge forms the panoramic Catoctin Mountain Park. Visitors can enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, cross country skiing and other interesting activities in the park. The park is open to public throughout the year. The Visitor center is closed on major holidays.
