Started in a Charleston, South Carolina, college apartment in 2000, Sol Driven Train has been chugging along since as a multi-genre folk band. The group's music combines reggae, funk and Americana influences to create a delightfully unique blend of cultures and eras. SDT has independently released full length albums, children's music and EPs, and the band is set to release a fan-funded album, Underdog, in 2013. The group has been touring full-time since 2005, so there are plenty of opportunities for fans to hop on the Sol Driven Train following.

Barbra Streisand stars in and makes her directorial debut (for which she won a Golden Globe) in "Yentl", the musical film about a young Jewish woman in early 20th-century Poland who disguises herself as a man so she can defy tradition and continue her study of the Talmud. While at a Jewish religious school, she winds up in a romantic triangle with a fellow student (Mandy Patinkin) and his fiancée (Amy Irving). This groundbreaking exploration of religious and gender identity was adapted from Isaac Bashevis Singer's classic Yiddish short story, "Yentl the Yeshiva Boy", and features an Oscar-winning score, including the memorable songs "Papa, Can You Hear Me?" and "The Way He Makes Me Feel."
