Conrad Memorial Baptist Church is located on Centennial Street, in Northern districts of High Point. Established in 1990, this House of God, offers regular worship service along with other community services. The Special Events Venue in the Greensboro Coliseum Complex is 167,000 square feet, 150,000 of which can be used for exhibition space. High Point University was established in 1924 and has a wide array of courses for the students. The university has a beautiful and well maintained campus and houses an arboretum. Established in 1940, Christ the King Church belongs to the Roman Catholic Diocese of Charlotte. It was originally a congregation for the African-American Catholics in the city, but has grown in number and spirituality to welcome a diverse community that is one in faith. The church building is of Colonial style architecture with a brick facade, stained-glass panels and a tall steeple. They serve masses in English and Spanish, and also hold Novenas and Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament.
