The Comedy Zone is where locals head to when they feel like laughing the night away. This comedy club plays host to major comedians, both local ones and national touring acts. Reservations are strongly suggested for their weekly shows. As you watch the show, The Comedy Zone offers a wide variety of food for you to enjoy. Arizona Pete's is the place where you can honky tonk the night away. In addition to the fully stocked bar here, their are a variety of events taking place most nights of the week. The Greensboro Coliseum Complex serves as a multi-building facility through a range of activities, including athletic events, cultural arts, concerts, theater and other forms of entertainment. It serves the purpose of being a primary center of activity as well as a platform for community-wide events. The Coliseum can accommodate up to 23000, seat a 2376 strong audience for Broadway and has a space of 20,000 square feet for sporting events and activities.
The Special Events Venue in the Greensboro Coliseum Complex is 167,000 square feet, 150,000 of which can be used for exhibition space. The Odeon Theater, a part of the Greensboro Coliseum Complex, seats 300 and is the smallest venue in the complex. The Community Theater of Greensboro and other local groups often put on plays and musicals in this intimate venue.

Since it opened in 1992, Millis Athletic and Convocation Center has been a premier athletics facility both on campus and off. Considered one of the best sports facilities in the Big South Conference, this center has played host to some important sports events, like the Big South Women's Basketball Tournament and Big South Men's Basketball Tournament. Located across Trogdon Street, the Science House is a popular concert venue. Equipped with modern acoustic equipment, it features varied genres of music and different bands are invited to play here. In the past, likes of Hurricanes of Love and The Neapolitan Children have performed here.
