John Wesley Methodist Episcopal Church is one of the finest churches in Greenville. The monumental church building was erected in 1899 and occupies a land cover of less than one acre. Downtown Baptist Church is a historic church located at Greenville, South Carolina. The church was built in 1858 and the building was renovated in 2011 to accommodate its growing members. The church was added to the National Register of Historic Places on August 16, 1977.
