»Elk Run Cemetery

Elk Run Cemetery houses the graves of the martyrs of the American Civil War. Spread across 23 acres, this cemetery is maintained by the Public Works Department for the Town of Elkton. About 48 Confederate soldiers are buried here. There also exists a 'slave graveyard' that is made distinct by a stone inscription.
