Veteran Memorial Park, also known by some as the Veteran Memorial Stadium, is the home of the James Madison University men's baseball and women's softball teams. Formerly located at Long Field at Mauck Stadium, the teams moved to Eagle Field at the Veterans Memorial Stadium for a new location.

Lohr's Farm is an agricultural land maintained and cultured by the Lohr Family. The land occupies a massive stretch of 250 acres and comprises of broiler houses, pumpkin lands, sweet corn and veggies farm, and a play-land. A treasure of the Lohr's for generations, this farm has now been termed as "Virginia's Best County Farm" on account of its boundless well grown produce. The place is also an entertainment destination with a huge play area equipped with several amenities open to public. Further, cultural activities and other such celebrations are constantly held here.

Stretching along the crest of the Blue Ridge Mountains, this park divides the Shenandoah Valley to the west and the Virginia Piedmont on the east. Maps are available at the many facilities along Skyline Drive, including visitor centers and concession stands. Although most tourists visit during October when autumn colors are at their peak, the blaze of azaleas in the spring and the wildflowers in early summer are equally spectacular. The Shenandoah is about two hours from Washington via I-66 west.
A friendly, fun, and exciting place to play, this championship 18 hole golf course is home to a signature hole which is a par 6, the only one in Virginia, that is recognized by the Guiness' book of records as "The Longest Hole in the United States."
