Tasked by a mysterious extra-legal organization called The Panel with finding the "origin of evil, the root of denial and the basic human weakness that causes us to fear death," schoolteacher/lifeguard Jane Whithers sets out on the heels of Prospero Albright, a childhood friend who she thinks holds the answer. Her comic rollercoaster ride through existential dilemmas and everyday fears takes her from Florida beaches to Texas sewers in search of the key to life's biggest questions.

    October 23, 2014 7:30 PM

Based on Bram Stroker's 1897 Gothic novel of the same name, Dracula is a stage production centered on a British solicitor who travels to Transylvania to help settle the estate of a count named Dracula. When the count is revealed to be a vampire, he takes the solicitor, Jonathan Harker, as a prisoner in his castle. As Dracula begins to hunt down Harker's fiance, a vampire hunter from Amsterdam intervenes and ventures into Dracula's castle to hunt him down and free his prisoner. The famed supernatural tale was first brought to the stage in 1924, and the play was a hit with American audiences, launching the career of Hungarian actor Bela Lugosi. Dracula has since been reprised in multiple stage and film versions, capturing the imaginations of audiences generation after generation.
