The Devil Wears Prada is a Christian metalcore band that emerged out of Dayton, Ohio in 2005. The five-piece outfit dropped its debut studio album Dear Love: A Beautiful Discord, with Rise Records in 2006 followed by 2007's Plagues. After taking part in several punk and metal festivals, the band signed with Ferret Music and began deliver its Christian metal sound to indie rock audiences with its subsequent albums, 2009's With Roots Above and Branches Below, and 2011's Dead Throne.
