A strong belief in Bible and the presence of God is what Revival Center Church preaches. Kids' week, prayer camp and many bible teaching classes are conducted here. Spread over 12,000 square feet, the church has an auditorium with a huge seating capacity. There are frequent musical concerts by the members focusing on Christian music. The Paxon Revival Center Church has built many churches in other cities to spread the word of God all over the world.
Located in the FJCC Kent Campus, the main auditorium is used for corporate events, from board meetings to business events. The auditorium is also used for social programs by the locals and social organizations like for the 'Hope is Emerging' program. Located in the front entrance of the campus, the auditorium has accessible seats. There are many good restaurants and hotels nearby and parking space is available off the park street.
Herlong Airport (H.E.G.) is run by the Jacksonville Aviation Authority for recreational flying purposes and general aviation. Most of the airport's activity is flight training for sports and recreational activities. The Herlong Airport is serviced by two intersecting runways. The airport, though small, does its bit in deviation of general aviation traffic from Jacksonville International Airport. Herlong Airport acts as landing base for many aircraft like the single and twin-engine aircraft and also for gliders, helicopters and corporate jets. Many skydiving operations are also based at the Herlong.

Baptist Medical Center Downtown is equipped with an emergency room, a trauma center, multiple specialties and programs. It also offers rehabilitation as well as psychiatric facilities. A children's hospital called the Wolfson Children's Hospital is also on the same campus.

Shands Jacksonville is a partnership of the University of Florida, and University and Methodist Medical Centers. It has a full service medical and research facility, which includes emergency, trauma, and even helicopter transportation. It offers multiple specialties and programs, including international services.
First Baptist Church of Jacksonville established in 1838 is the third oldest church in Jacksonville. The church was reconstructed in 1903, after a major fire gutted the core structure of the building. The church community has grown tremendously since its inception. Sunday Worship and Sunday School are popular with the faithfuls. The church also houses a library and bookstore.
The Immaculate Conception Catholic Church is a magnificent structure erected in 1907. Located in downtown Jacksonville, it is built with a Gothic style of architecture. The extravagant exteriors along with the calm and soothing interiors give the church an archaic feel. The church had a rich history with many ups and downs, but has been preserved well through these years. The stunning design and the intricate structure of the building is truly a sight of grandeur. Masses, Baptisms, Weddings and all other religious ceremonies are conducted regularly by the church.
The Al-Salaam Mosque is located in the Historic Springfield District. The mosque also has a number of other activities like Educational workshops, Lectures and meetings taken by Imam Umar Abdul Sharif. This place has a gift shop and everyone is welcomed to visit the mosque and the shop.
Dating back to the late 19th Century, Mount Zion AME Church is one of the earliest places of worship for Africans in the city. The majestic Romanesque edifice that stands today was built after the former church building was gutted in a prominent fire in 1901. Prominent features of the striking church building include the gigantic glass windows as well as the beautiful bell tower.
Built in 2003, the stadium is home to the Jacksonville Suns of the Southern League. It can hold up to 11,000 people, features 12 luxurious sky boxes and 4 sky decks with private seating. The distance between home plate and center field in the Southern League is the longest in this field. For the convenience of the audience, there are plenty of rest rooms and first aid facility as well as a video scoreboard. With such great up-close views, it's difficult to not enjoy a game here.
