    »Casting Crowns

    August 28, 2014 7:00 PM

First thing that might be able to tell you the nature of this Christian soft rock group: all four permanent members of the band consider their work with music to be a part time activity, scheduling it around their full-time work--mentoring teenagers at their church in McDonough, Georgia. This bit of info is useful in understanding what type of band Casting Crowns is and how much their God means to them. The band made a splash in the Christian music scene after releasing a string of well received albums throughout the 2000s and playing contemporary worship services on Sunday mornings at their church in Georgia.

Mrs. Skannotto is a band from Rochester, New York that's known for seamlessly fusing ska, rock and reggae into a cohesive whole.Founded in 1998, the group was greatly influenced by the third wave ska movement and, during its formative years, tried to model its sound after the genre's reggae-influenced rock sound.
