Briceville Community Church and Cemetery is a non-denominational church located in Briceville, Tennessee, built in the year 1887. It originally served as a center for social events and community affairs for the Coal Creek Valley during the coal mining boom in late 19th and early 20th Centuries. It is a typical example of rural Gothic Revival style of architecture. It has white-painted weatherboard exteriors, a basement, a gabled roof and two Gothic Revival style towers on both sides. The church also has a cemetery.
Established in 1819, Maryville College is one of the oldest undergraduate institutions in the South. Steeped in tradition, it is affiliated to the Presbyterian Church. It provides students with unrivaled educational resources and facilities in the fields of academics, athletics and extracurricular activities. The Sevierville Events Center is a one stop venue for trade fairs, expos, exhibitions, conferences etc. The venue is owned by the city public building authority and is run by the government. Most of the events happening here require registration and very few of them are open to the public. The center houses a ballroom, meeting rooms, outdoor exhibit area and also provides catering facilities. Many hotels around the center cater to lodging needs.
