Waukegan Harbor Light is an early 20th century structure located at the bottom of the Government Pier. The lighthouse was burned down in a fire in 1967 after which it was renovated to look like the original structure. Its fog lamp was replaced by a newer version during the time of renovation giving the lighthouse the means to function even today.
Goliath (Six Flags Great America) holds three world records for the fastest speed, steepest drop as well as the longest drop and is a wooden roller coaster that offers two inversions. With a top speed of 72 miles per hour and a height of 180 feet, this ride is designed for adventurous people. Zero gravity stall is a unique experience where riders hang upside down over the crest of a hill.
Waukegan Municipal Beach is located on the sandy shores of beautiful and pristine Lake Michigan. You can take part in a number of water based activities here including, boating, kite boating, speed boating and racing and so on.
The Cuneo Mansion and Gardens is a historic museum based in Vernon Hills, Illinois and designed by architect Benjamin Marshall of Marshall & Fox. It was built in the year 1914, and is now an art gallery and historic house museum. The mansion has been the backdrop of many movies like My Best Friend's Wedding, Witless Protection, to name a few. It is open to the general public for viewing.
Columbia Carousel is located at the Six Flags Great America and is world's tallest Carousel. The carousel is double-decker and has 106 ornate horses and animals. These are beautiful crafted with utmost attention to details and are lit up with carnival lights. The carousel overlooks a beautiful pond and is open for people of all ages.

Besides, there are also ball fields, basketball courts, playgrounds, and picnic shelters, to ensure that everyone finds something they enjoy doing.
