Formed in 2001, Norwegian five-piece Leprous merges the worlds of progressive rock and progressive metal into a cohesive and impressive style. Though the band formed while its members were still in their teenage years, the group managed to maintain a fairly advanced grasp over their respective instruments and create a mature musical style, winning over a diverse fan base throughout Europe immediately. Over the years, the group caught the attention of several prominent bands, including The Mars Volta, who offered to do the cover art for Leprous' 2009 album. With the respect of fellow musicians and fans alike, Leprous continues to win over audiences across the globe.
