As with most factory outlets, this one is located a bit outside of the city of El Paso, about 35 minutes north of downtown. The list of stores include Banana Republic, Converse, Hot Topic, Lane Bryant and Puma in addition to many, many others. The prices are a little cheaper than what you would find outside of their retail stores and some items are a downright steal.
The open-air store that is Mexican Pottery is an utterly dazzling display of color and craftsmanship. Imported from Mexico's southern states, patrons will find an impressive assortment of items, from fountains, statues, chimneys, pots, and, of course, pottery, and how. A perfect place to fill up on memorable souvenirs.
Trend Society is located on the Westside and is one of many cool and eclectic boutiques in this part of town. Most of the clothing and accessories like bracelets, anklets and charms are usually made by local artists and they sometimes inflect the spirit of the Southwest within their design. Some of the products are also made with Native American motifs and many of the clothes feature bright, Southwestern patterns. This trendy little hometown shop focuses on women's fashion and accessories. The boutique carries all types of designer brands as well as some obscure ones from others. Some of the major brands include the famous Oscar de la Renta, Helmut Lang and Desigual, but there are many other not-so known ones like Porto, Josie Natori, Komarv, Paper White and Zodax just to name a few. As to be expected, the prices are quite high, however the quality and craftsmanship on each item is impeccable.
