The Mote-Morris House is a charming home with a splendid blend of architectural styles. This two-story house includes a four level steeple, a palour and a music room. The L-shaped staircase leads to the bedrooms on the second level. This house is open to the public as a historical home, and is also available for social functions and events.
Leesburg Bikefest is an annual motorcycle event that is held in the historical city of Leesburg, which is located approximately 40 miles northwest from the center of Orlando. This friendly little town comes alive every year in April and welcomes well over 100,000 people to the Bikefest. There are more than 200 vendors selling any thing and every thing "bike related", numerous free live bands with various music genres, special events and contests throughout the occasion and all kinds of food selections. The local bars and stores also join in on the fun and have a large variety of exceptional specials just for this event.
The Villages Polo Stadium is a fabulously constructed ground and track for polo matches. Fixtures held at the ground feature both professionals as well as regulars. One of the prime highlights in the Eustis city of Florida is the monumental Woman's Club of Eustis. The club boasts of a room capacity of 125 in diner style whilst 156 auditorium style and 80 classroom style. It is inclusive of a swaggering kitchen area, and varied miscellaneous items of use are available. The club house building is a fine model of the Classical Revival style of architecture. It also stands listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
The electric Bond-Fire Festival Grounds come to life during the annual Bond-Fire Art & Music Festival which sees music lovers from across Florida thronging in to the otherwise relatively peaceful town of Groveland. The grounds are spaciously laid out and allow for food stalls, street musicians and artists to set up camp in specified areas while the main event simultaneously plays out along the main stage.
The Clermont Woman's Club finds its origins in the Civic Club incorporated in 1927. The original clubhouse building was built in 1923.It is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
