A statue that commemorates the 1631 settlement of this Dutch whaling colony. Stockade was burned and all 28 settlers perished the following spring.

Dogfish Head Craft Brewery is known for their extensive craft beers. Some of their selection are rarest of the lot, some are seasonal and others are available throughout the year. They also brew beers which are exclusive to pubs and Black & Red, Golden Era, etc are their hiatus brews. A tour of this state-of-the-art brewery gets one acquainted with the process of beer making and also lets guests sample the brews. Patrons can refill their growlers here or even buy pints to enjoy them at home. The brewery also houses a bar which is a perfect place to meet friends and sample a few beers along with delicious eats.
