“The Production Line of Happiness” is the first retrospective of Christopher Williams’s 35-year career. Williams, a professor of photography and an influential artist working in his own right, is deeply preoccupied with the history and function of the image. This exhibit features Williams’s Super-8 shorts, longer film and video, photographs from his magnum series, and more eccentric works, such as extensive vinyl “supergraphics.”
