Seether is a post-grunge band from South Africa that was formed in 1999 by Shaun Morgan Welgemoed, Dale Stewart and Dave Cohoe. Under that name Saron Gas, the band released its debut album Fragile, in 2000 before adopting the name Seether before the release of 2002's Disclaimer. Its sophomore effort earned the band national fame and eventually international recognition after Seether was chosen as the opening act for Evanescence's world tour. The band signed a record deal with Wind-Up Records and moved to the US where it honed its post grunge/alternative metal sound on albums such as 2007's Finding
Beauty in Negative Spaces, and 2011's Holding Onto Strings Better Left to Fray.

Out of the arms of defeat Mike Farris has done a victory lap...He takes people who are hurting, who are broken, who think they are alone and through just the sound of his voice he lets them know that they're not...that's magic. - Mary Gauthier Lake Forest is thrilled to welcome back long-time friend Mike Farris, who is fresh off his 2015 Grammy Win for Best Roots Gospel Album for "Shine for All People." His latest release bears witness to the determination of putting one foot in front of the other and to the power of music to get you there. Ive discovered that falling is a divine thing, Mike adds. Its part and parcel of being human. The important thing is to keep the faith and keep moving on and on. Daring to be courageous enough to share our deepest burdens with each other is the greatest gift we can give. Take a listen here...
