Are you workforce leader in Maryland?  Are you looking for a meaningful experience to prepare you to lead your team or agency?  Are you interested in joining like-minded professionals for a 12 month program focused on action oriented projects, collaboration, and networking?  The National Association of Workforce Development Professionals (NAWDP) and Towson University's Center for Professional Studies are teaming up to provide Maryland's workforce agencies a brand new opportunity to enhance the skills of our state's next generation of workforce leaders - Learn to Lead Workforce Development Leadership Academy  Delivered by a faculty of local and national experts and speakers, this year-long program will be a mix of in person and online learning events all focused on preparing participants to effectively lead their teams, agencies, and Maryland's workforce industry. Participants will identify their strengths and learn how to engage those strengths in critical leadership areas as well as learn more about federal changes coming for the system and Maryland-specific issues that all workforce leaders must know to be protect and grow their organizations.
