New York-based Mike Doughty is an alternative and indie rock guitarist and singer/songwriter. After a successful run under Warner Brothers with the band Soul Coughing in the 1990s, Doughty left the band with the hope of recovering from a heroin addiction. He began touring the country as a solo artist after beating his addiction, driving a rental car and developing a fan base by selling CDs after shows. In 2004, he had a chance encounter with artist Dave Matthews, a devoted Soul Coughing fan and a fan of Doughty's early solo work. He gave Matthews a future version of his 2005 album Haughty Melodic, which Matthews released on his ATO record label. Since his solo albums from the mid-2000s, Doughty has evolved his catchy sound into more refined indie-rock music by placing greater concentration on songwriting and composition. Doughty has released six albums with a new band, including his 2011 album, Yes and Also Yes.

Taken from her forthcoming EP, Country Til Monday’ is the stunning new single from country singer-songwriter Fiona Culley. Discovering her love for American folk and country from a young age, Culley has been penning her own songs since early 2008. Finding inspiration from her countryside home in Devon and the wandering landscapes of England, Culley’s recent experiences in Nashville have shaped her music for good. Blending a collection of old and new influences, from the likes of Johnny Cash to Carrie Underwood, Culley is bringing her fresh sound to the genre.
Recorded in Nashville with a hit team of musicians and producers, including the likes of producer Sam Brooker (Sam and Ruby), fellow singer Brent Anderson ( Brad Paisley, Sheryl Crow) and guitarist Luc Nyhus (The Farm, Big & Rich), ‘Country Til Monday’ is an infectious tune showing Culley at her best. Evoking elements of acts such as The Dixie Chicks and Lee Ann Womack, ‘Country Til Monday’ sees classic pedal steel guitar and deft picking from mandolin and guitar blending neatly together. Culley’s powerful vocals shine throughout and a toe-tapping beat drives the song.
A glimpse into Fiona Culley’s new EP, the track shows the promise of this young singer. Oozing potential, Culley has already turned the heads of many established singer-songwriters and producers in both Nashville and the UK, including her latest co-write with Zac Maloy who had a smash hit with Carrie Underwood’s ‘Temporary Home’. Culley has been invited to open for multi platinum selling artist Darius Rucker in the coming months and has been described as ‘the Adele of country with a twist of Reba McEntire’. Her performances will melt your heart and soles of your cowboy boots, leaving you wanting more.
‘Country Til Monday’ will be released on 23rd September.

Johnny Bulford is a name to be known in Nashville. Growing up in a home filled with music it was natural for Bulford to realize and hone his passions from an early age; attending a Garth Brooks concert at the age of 12, he looked at his mother and said That is what I want to do with my life". Performing throughout high school and college, Bulford won the national singing competition Colgate Country Showdown in 2008 and secured a publishing contract from Warner Chapell Music shortly thereafter. 2011 was a great year for the now 29 year old Orlando, FL native: he had his song "Flashlight", co-written with RCA artist Chris Young, cut on Young's 2011 album "Neon", and secured his first #1 hit with Lee Brice's "A Woman Like You". Honored at the 42nd Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame Dinner for "A Woman Like You", Bulford stood on stage not far from his idol, Garth Brooks. Continuing to tour the Southeast with his own band, Bulford is captivating audiences with his showmanship, boy-next-door personality and beautifully written originals while his newest single, "Lonely Eyes" by Chris Young is quickly climbing the charts.
