The Ogden Nature Center is an education center and a preserver of nature. Spread over 152 acres (61 hectares), it is home to several birds and animals, and features gardens, ponds, tree houses, walking trails, and so on. This is a perfect place for recreation and family leisure time, and also educates visitors on the conservation of nature.
Located along the Weber River is the Fort Buenaventura that is deemed to be the foremost Anglo settlement. Now it houses a park that makes for an interesting day trip or a camping site.
The Ogden Union Station is only a rail station area that has now been transformed. There are some very popular museums onsite that includes John M. Browning Firearms Museum, the Utah State Railroad Museum or the Eccles Rail Center, Browning Kimball Car Museum and Natural History Museum. The complex is also famous for the art galleries where you can find fine art, handicrafts and more on display. When you are tired and hungry from the shopping you can grab a bite at Union Grill or any of the other dining options.
The Salomon Center is one of the city's most exciting places to be. One of the best indoor adventure venues in the country, the center has a number of activities to engage in. Some of the popular ones are the vertical wind sky diving tunnel called iFLY Utah, the power wave stream that allows boogie boarding wake-boarding, surfing an other water sports at Flowrider. There is also a section for arcade games and all-time favorites like mini-golf, pool, bowling, wall-climbing and more. The facility also houses a fitness center and cinema theaters for all round entertainment. Other than the physical and visual entertainment, the center is home to a number of restaurant and a sports bar as well. Spaces within the center can be used for private celebrations as well. The venue is such a great place, Men's Journal even stated that it was amongst the best man-made adventure spots in the world.
City Hall Park is a perfect spot for your early morning jog or for walking your pet. The park is also an address to the Ogden Amphitheater.
Lined with beautiful trees and endowed with a carpet of lush, green grass, the Lorin Farr Park is perfect for a family picnic. It is a neighbor of the Ogden City Rodeo.
The John Moses Browning House is a historic house located in Ogden. It was constructed from 1890 to 1900 and is built on a land cover of less than one acre (0.40 hectares). The structuring of the house was done under the meticulous plans and executions of renowned architects Whittaker, Sam. Over the decades, the front porch has underwent modifications, however the rest of the house has retained its original artistic and historic charm. The house was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1973.
Established in 1959, the Eccles Community Art Center aims to promote art in all forms among the masses. It conducts classes and educational programs in arts as well as holds exhibitions ranging from paintings and sculptures to ceramics.

Jaycee Park is a perfect place where you can sit in solitude with a good book and a small picnic basket. The park also has a tiny play area for kids, and offers plenty of parking spots.
The Mount Ogden Park is defined by pristine expanses of carefully manicured grass, making it a perfect setting for bringing an intimate picnic. The park is also perfect for walking pets and local kids usually come here for friendly soccer matches.
Hill Aerospace Museum offers more than 50 aircraft in both indoor and outdoor displays. These displays range from the first U.S. military trainer (a bi-wing Stearman) to the ultra-modern SR-71 Blackbird. Favorite exhibits also include a flight simulator, missiles and a smattering of aviation-oriented artwork. Visitors should keep their eyes to the sky while outside the facility; four squadrons of F-16 Vipers call Hill Air Force base home, and the fighters can frequently be seen roaring off toward their training grounds.
