This "awesome course" called The Golf Club at Fleming Island was designed by the renowned, and Ponte Vedra Beach resident, Bobby Weed. Weed's championship accentuates Florida's most beautiful natural features. The front and back nines are as different in design as in surroundings. The front is cut out of the east side of the plantation where open fairways lined with pines and ponds, and huge elevated greens let you grip and rip it! As you play west to the back nine, the scenery changes to swamp and thick woodlands, which plays for a tighter, shorter, shot-maker par-35. This meticulously maintained course plays tough, but remains fair with five sets of tees, and is aesthetically pleasing to the eyes. Check website for rate and timing details.
This Clyde Johnston design is exciting, challenging, well maintained, and skillfully carved into a forest of 60-foot-high pines. Featured at Eagle Harbor Golf Club are multiple tees, multi-tiered greens, rolling fairways, and a variety of sand and grass bunkers. Surrounded by numerous lakes, this terrific layout has become one of Jacksonville's most popular courses. A new, modern clubhouse adds to the golf experience.

Magnolia Point Golf & CC features elevation changes from 6 to 80', with many areas heavily wooded. There are 18 lakes in play throughout, with several forced carries. The greens are Tif-dwarf Bermuda, the fairways 419 Bermuda. All holes are well guarded, and all bunkers on the White and Blue 9's have recently been reworked by McCumber Golf to improve playability, drainage, and appearance. The golf course has a combination of open and tight fairways, long and short par-4s, an excellent variety of par-3 holes, and a few 'grip-and-rip holes' that lets you swing away. The greens are very large with subtle slopes which, depending on the pin placement, gives the course a different look on a daily basis. Although challenging, there are no unfair holes, golfers find the course fun to play.
