New York based band Bayside was formed by Antony Raneri, who named the band after his hometown, Bayside, Queens. The group produces high school friendly hard rock with emo tendencies, which are fairly warranted considering the band was in a tragic car accident on it's first tour that killed one band member and severely injured another. Despite this tragedy, the band continued to release standard alternative music, garnering a huge fan base of teenagers willing to throw down their parents money to buy band merch and start mosh pits at every Bayside show.

The March 5, 2015 FrogWatch USA free training session will be held at Brevard Zoo from 5:30 8:30 p.m. FrogWatch trainees will learn how to identify local frog and toad species by their calls as well as learn about amphibian biology, amphibian conservation and wetlands. After the training session, FrogWatch volunteers can choose to register a site to monitor. If you can hear frogs and toads calling at home you can monitor your own backyard! Well go over this in depth during the FrogWatch training session.  All training materials will be provided, but paper and pencil may be useful to write notes or other information. We will have light snacks and refreshments, but feel free to bring something more substantial to enjoy during the training if you would like.
