The Flagler College Auditorium, located across the street from the main campus, is the main venue for speeches and symposiums held under the auspices of the school, but is also used as the setting for play, concerts and forums in the city.
This theatre performs in an intimate setting seven times throughout the year and showcases everything from comedy to drama and musicals. They also host an annual Playwrights' Festival from mid-July through August, where two first-time productions selected from state wide submissions are performed. This is St Augustine's only year-round theater. The season runs from September through August. Tickets for plays are $20 and musical performances run $25. Opened in November 2012 with a scintillating gig by upcoming punk band Hundred Waters, The Standard has created a huge following among the music lovers within a short span of time. This flexible venue has a seating capacity for 300 spectators, however more crowd can by accommodated during shows with standing room only. Performing in the historic Jones-Rosenberg Building of the Santa Fe Community College Andrews Center, this local community theatre group presents several unique and entertaining plays throughout the year including an annual production of "A Christmas Carol."
