Some of the many activities offered at the park include bumper boats, go-karts, mini-golf, climbing wall, batting cages, and sand volleyball. Located in Des Moines, the Iowa State Capitol building is imposing, but beautiful. Constructed between 1871 and 1886, this building houses Iowa's Legislature. It is the only state capitol in the United States that has five domes. It was one of the tallest buildings in Iowa until 1924 and it's central dome is gilded with actual gold. There is no entry fee to this building considered to be one of the most beautiful buildings in Des Moines.

The lavish building retains its original parquet floors and marble fireplaces, which makes it a popular venue for corporate events and private parties.
