Improv Comedy Club & Dinner TheatreDecember 18, 2014 8:00 PM
550 South Rosemary Avenue
West Palm Beach, FL 33401
Based in New York, Rory Scovel is a comedian who has experienced a rapid rise to fame due, in part, to his unique approach to reciting material in an easy to like manner and confiding candor. Often pandering on the subject of everyday American life, Scovel doesn't rely on absurdist or slapstick humor. Instead, he looks at what is considered normal and highlights the intricate strangeness of those common things, exposing the absurdity of the human condition and our everyday lives.

Celebrated as one of the funniest musicals to grace Broadway in recent years, The Book of Mormon is a religious satire musical written by the Trey Park and Matt Stone, the creators of the famed animated South Park television series (1997-). The story follows two mismatched Mormon missionaries as they haphazardly attempt to bring Mormonism to the tribal peoples of Uganda, with hilarious and often enlightening results. The musical opened in 2011 and almost immediately gained the acclaim of critics and audiences who felt that The Book of Mormon achieves the trifecta of great music, plot and choreography that is found in all Broadway classics.
