Florida Georgia Line is a country duo based out of Nashville, Tennessee that was formed in 2010. Comprised of Brian Kelly and Tyler Hubbard, individuals from the states of Florida and Georgia,respectively, the group makes a distinctive style of modern country music that has gone over well with fans who enjoy pop-tinged country material. The group released its debut album, Here's to the Good Times, in 2012 and the album helped attract a fan base,primarilyfrom The South--the duo's home turf.

Formed in Seattle in 1992, Everclear rose to rock stardom in 1997 with the release of their album So Much For The Afterglow. The album featured several smash-hit singles, including "Father of Mine" and "I Will Buy You A New Life," which brought Everclear to mainstream public acclaim. The band began playing major shows, headlining tours across America. Over the years, Everclear has continued to evolve, despite the comings and goings of band members and the rise and fall of fame's tide.

One of the blues revival pioneers of 1960s England, John Mayall is a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist and the founder of The Bluesbreakers. As the front man of John Mayall and the Bluesbreakers, he led a number of now iconic musicians such as Mick Tayler of The Rolling Stones, Peter Gren of Fleetwood Mac and Eric Clapton at the beginning of their careers. In 1968, he turned to a more experimental sound and disbanded his group, though the band reformed in 1982 only to officially breakup again in 2008 so Mayall could pursue other solo projects with various collaborators. With a staggering discography and a career that spans over half a century, Mayall is already cemented in music history as a father of English blues though he continues to perform around the world today.

If you lived on the Sunset Strip in Los Angles during the late 1980s you undoubtedly knew the guys from Motley Crue. The hard living life style that characterized Hollywood in the 1980s was perfectly manifested in the group and the band partied extremely hard--flippantly breaking laws and abusing drugs. Despite a period of time apart, playing in various other musical endeavors, the Crue is back and despite being a bit older, the band still plays as hard as ever.

Since 1997, Southern California-based band Trapt have a part of a strong contingent of the power-rock (often referred to as butt rock) scene that emerged in the late 90s and helped define an era of commercially successful pop rock that would dominate at the turn of the 21st century. Trapt's lyrics are known for their angst-ridden themes, often filled with anger and disappointment at people's personal failings. Trapt's music is filled with tightly wound distorted guitars and drums to compliment their equally tense lyrics.

Randy Houser is modern country music artist who relocated to Nashville, Tennessee from his Mississippi home in 2002 to pursue a career as a singer/songwriter. After a few years penning hit tunes, such as "Honky Tonk Badonkadonk," for artists like Trace Adkins, he switched his focus to performing and began making the rounds on the Nashville show circuit. Houser signed to the Universal South Records label in 2008, and released his first single "Anything Goes" later that same year. By the time he released his debut full-length album, Anything Goes, he saw his first hit song with the title track. Houser dropped his third studio album,How Country Feels, in 2013, with a confident alternative country rock sound.

The legendary guitarist Ted Nugent, from Detroit, Michigan, first gained fame as a member of The Amboy Dukes. By the mid 70's he left the group and established himself as a successful solo artist. Touring annually since 1967, Nugent continues to crank out hard rock with his signature Gibson Byrdland guitar. Apart from his music career, he is known for his conservative political views, anti-drug stance and strong pro gun and hunting views.

During the outlaw-country movement in the '70s few artists were as respected as Willie Nelson. His renegade aura as well as his reputation as somewhat of a drifter helped bolster his notoriety and cement his place in country music. Though many of his peers in the '70s have faded into pop culture oblivion, Nelson has managed to stay relevant - constantly reinventing himself and his sound with dabbles into various forms of music including reggae, blues, jazz and lounge.

Born in Texas and raised in Southeastern Oklahoma, Stoney LaRue is a country singer/songwriter with deep roots in The South. After moving to Stillwater, OK to pursue a career in music, he solidified his red dirt/texas country style by jamming with fellow artists Cody Canada and Jason Boland. As leader of The Organic Boogie Band, LaRue released the album Downtown in 2002, followed by his debut solo effort The Red Dirt Album, in 2005. He released two live album before recording and releasing his follow-up studio album Velvet, in 2011.

Sick Puppies is an Australian alternative rock band from Sydney. Band members Shimon Moore, Emma Anzai, and Mark Goodwin formed in 1997. In 2001, Sick Puppies released its first album, Welcome to the Real World. The band pulls heavily from the Nu Metal and Post-Grunge movements' influences.

Sevendust is an alternative metal band that was formed in Atlanta, Georgia in 1994 by bassist Vince Hornsby, drummer Morgan Rose and guitarist John Connolly. After releasing its first demo, the band completed its lineup with lead vocalist Lajon Witherspoon and guitarist Clint Lowery before Sevendust released its eponymous debut album in 1997. With nu metal-tinged post-grunge sound, the band attracted alternative rock fans as well as a heavy metal audience. Sevendust continues to progress with its signature, genre bridging sound on records including 2013's Black Out the Sun.
