Barcelona | The Young Wild | Catamaran
    The LoftSeptember 17, 2014 7:00 PM
    1135 South Lamar
    Dallas, TX 75215
Barcelona is a trio confusingly based out of Seattle, not the Spanish city of the group's name, that creates piano-based soft rock. After self-releasing a debut album in 2007, just after the band members had graduated from college, the group grabbed the attention of major label Universal Records, which signed the band and skyrocketed it to fame. With lead singer Brian Fennell's delicate crooning of lyrics revolving around love and heartbreak, Barcelona has amassed a large female fan base, and with its many charity concerts with big name acts, the group has only continued to grow its audience.
