Garrett Park Historic District is located in Garrett Park, Montgomery County, Maryland. This 154-acre (62-hectare) residential area is replete with several styles of architecture including Late Victorian, and Late 19th and 20th Century Revivals styles. Established in 1891, it was added to the National Registrar of Historic Places in January 31, 1975.
The Rock Creek Woods Historic District is a modern suburban settlement that consists of many houses. Though the architectural style of the contributing buildings is contemporary, the layout of the district remains original and intact. The properties on this district were built between 1958 and 1961.
Bethesda Naval Hospital Tower was earlier known as the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. It is a tri-service center and is one of the most important medical centers in Washington, D.C. The building was constructed between 1939 and 1942 during World War II. The modern-looking building has a 20-story tower and over looks a golf course. In November 1963, the autopsy of then U.S. President John F Kennedy was done here.
