Pile
The Bomb ShelterMarch 10, 2015
637 East 37th Street
Savannah, GA 31401
Pile is a stoner rock band from Boston that crafts a sleepy, post-grunge sound. With moments of off-kilter energy sewn throughout its songs, the group first captured its distinctive style on the 2009 album Jerk Routine. Mastering the balance between the past and present of alternative rock, punk and post punk, post-hardcore and indie, Pile captured a massive following that has grown with each of its subsequent LPs, such as 2012's Drippings.

Originally created for the Jazmines festival at Buenos Aires's famous cabaret joint Michelangelo, Tango Buenos Aires quickly became one of Argentina's cultural exports of traditional and modern tango. After making its way to various national theater companies, the troupe made its way to the US in 1986 to represent Argentina in the Latin-Americn Festival in New York's Central Park. Tango Buenos Aires's performance in the US led to a regular touring regime throughout South America and eventually countries like Germany, Spain, Australia, New Zealand, Thialand and Malaysia.
