The Great Cloth Diaper Change - Arizona - 2015
Phoenix Convention CenterApril 18, 2015 10:00 AM
100 North Third Street
Phoenix, AZ 85004
Cloth diapers have come a long way in past 10 years, and its time to stand up and be noticed. Join the cloth diaper community to set a Guinness Book World Record for the most cloth diapers changed simultaneously, to help raise awareness for cloth diapering with The Real Diaper Association. There will be families on several continents joining us! We will have fun vendors, raffle prizes, swag bags and more!  This event is open to all families, cloth diapering or otherwise. How Do I Participate? It's So Easy! 1. Preregister and get your tickets here on this page below by "buying a ticket". You are required to preregister. This event is FREE. Preregistering allows us to know in advance how many participants we will need to accommodate. You only need one ticket for each adult that will be changing a child as part of the event. All other family members and friends are welcome to come watch and enjoy the event, but should register as a Guest. 2. Please try to arrive by 10:30 AM on April 18, 2015. We need time to check everyone in and get set up before the event begins. Participants who arrive late may not have enough time to qualify for the Diaper Change. We are expecting a large turn out!  The following regulations are set by the Guinness World Records: 3. Change your baby when we say "GO!" *Each baby must be changed out of a cloth or disposable diaper into a reusable cloth diaper at exactly 11:00 AM (MST). *If you dont have a cloth diaper, you can purchase one the day of the event from one of our vendors carryin cloth diapers. *The cloth diaper must be a brand that can be purchased by the general public in a retail store or online. Please bring a changing mat, towel, or blanket. It is also recommended that you bring a small toy to keep your child entertained while we get everyone counted and set for the change. If you leave the designated changing area before 11:00am, you will not be allowed reentry. *Unfortunately, homemade diapers that are not commercially available and cloth trainers cannot be used. This is a very strict rule from Guinness World Records. *All participating babies and toddlers must be 39 inches or shorter. *Each child must be paired with exactly one adult participant.     RAFFLE TICKETS Each diaper changing participant will receive 1 raffle ticket. Additional raffle tickets can be 'purchased' by bringing donations items for our baby food/formula drive, or baby and children's clothing drive for The Child Crisi Center, or cloth diapers for The Rebecca Foundation.   We are currently seeking.. -Professional Photographer specializing in Portraits -Baby & kids goods/services vendors. (This includes all baby/kids-wear, baby/kids toys, childrens photography services, kids cooking classes, kids room and nursery decor, etc. Non-baby centric vendors may be declined) -Witnesses to record the event for Guiness World Records -Volunteers to collect items for the cloth diaper, baby/kids clothing and baby food/formula drive and distribute raffle tickets for items donated.
