Though its history dates back to the 1820s, this red bricked Gothic style sanctuary was built in 1860. The Cooper Memorial United Methodist Church was initially called the Bethesda Chapel in 1839 when the first building was constructed which later paved way to the present structure. Besides the regular Sunday fellowship and Sunday school, the church regularly hosts bible studies and community outreach programs.

Church of the Guardian Angels came to be in 1957. The church initially operated out of the cafeteria of a local high school till the present structure was built. In 1958, the church conducted its first ever mass in the newly built structure and also opened the Guardian Angels School with grade one to eight.
